Good food, good service. Went after New Years with a friend and they were packed. Seemed to be seating people pretty fast, we only waited about 15 mins for a table. Definitely a good spot for a quick bite to eat!

First time customer came in and was greeted by a young man very polite, took me to my table near our window, which was fine. The restaurant was very clean and organized. I was given a then you in a few minutes later the waitress came to take my order young lady very polite. I told her I was ready for my order, a patty melt fries in a Diet Coke. Within less than 10 minutes. She served my table and asked me if there's anything else I needed and I told her now and I must say this is probably the best patty melt. I've had in Chicago and that says a lot, it was constantly moisture at the same time for a tries are perfect. The Diet Coke is a Diet Coke. What can you say? She came to the table it was all right. I told her what I thought about the food and asked who cooked the food and she told me it was a man who worked there over 30 years. I asked her if she would please compliment him and tell him my thoughts about the meal and it's obviously you know what he's doing when it comes to cooking on the grill as I said this was my first time there it won't be my last and I certainly would recommend it to others. Good food, great service! They had all the components of a good local diner. a full menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, drinks, apps, desserts, and malts/shakes! YUM!!! The diner was nicely decorated and felt very homey, family business for sure.

I tried Stellas diner for dinner. I ordered a chicken and avocado sandwich. It was pretty messy to eat but very flavorful! The fries were also really good! The service was a little slow but nothing too noticeable. I loved the theme inside I felt like I was in an old time diner.

Stella's is your classic American diner in the heart of Chicago. The service was fast, efficient, and attentive. Great bang for your buck! The food was great and large portions were served. The server offered us an iced coffee to go - a rarity these days. Overall, very satisfied with the quality of food and service - we will absolutely be coming back.

Solid is the one word to describe this adorable and bright diner on Broadway. First off, order their fries. If you want to just gain the best advice fast - boom you got it. This was my first time stopping into Stella's and I had to get the turkey bacon club; especially when you see three others in the joint order it while you're there. This sandwich was fresh and fast. The meat was flavorful and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The bread held up throughout the meal. My partner had the breakfast sandwich. Get the fried egg and add avocado! Will be coming back when hungover.
